Description

I only record night migration: such as plovers, sandpipers, thrushes, pipits, larks, buntings, warblers, flycatchers, herons and optionally rarer species.

Not recorded: rails, ducks, geese, oystercatchers, jackdaws, crows, grey herons and other flying nocturnal local birds.

I only count birds from nautical dusk, to astronomical dusk, the night, astronomical dawn, and nautical dawn.
Civil twilight is day migration for me.

Location

Hilversum-Oost, approximately 300 metres as the crow flies from the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
